The completed registration form shall be sent to the Convener along with a Demand Draft for Rs. 300/- (Rs.300 as additional fee for publication of Book with ISBN) drawn in favour of The Principal, Ayya Nadar Janaki Ammal College, Sivakasi, payable at Sivakasi on or before 18 November, 2014. The author and co-author should register separately. Free accommodation only will be provided to participants in college hostels on request based on first come first served.

About Event:
ICT revolution have brought about a paradigm shift in the way in
which business processes are being carried out, organizations are being managed, and governance of the state is being done. Information and communication technologies (ICTS) which include radio and television, and the Internet - have been touted as potentially and powerful enabling tools for service sector change and reform. Service sector is the lifeline for the social economic growth of a country. It is today the largest and fastest growing sector globally contributing more to the global output and employing more people than any other sector. Indian service sector has witnessed a major boom and is one of the major contributors to both employment and national income in recent times. The activities under the purview of the service sector are quite diverse. Trading, transportation and communication, financial, real estate and business services, community, social and personal services come within the gambit of the service industry.In this context, the objective of this seminar will be the discussion to make an analysis of the trend in respect of the performance of Indian Service sectors over the last few years vis-a-vis the rest of the world, the latest developments and trends in the field. Such an analysis would reveal the issues, challenges and prospects of the sector.

Papers are invited from students, research scholars, faculty members and field of experts on the relevant issues Indian service sectors in the information and communication technology era and the above said thrust areas.Guidelines for Paper presentationAll the papers must be typed in MS-Word in Times New Roman (font size 12) with 1.5 spacing, not exceeding 8 pages including annexure, tables and references. An abstract (not exceeding 300 words) along with the full length paper should be sent in the form of both Soft and Hard copy formats for speedy processing. Selected papers will be brought out as a Book Volume with ISBN. The important dates are as follows :Submission of Abstract with Registration Form : 18.11.2014 Submission of Full length paper : 30.11.2014 All future correspondence by e-mail only
