This Program is sponsored by DBT and organized by Medical Electronics Research Group of ECE Dept. of PSNACET, Dindigul.
The program focuses on Health care biotechnology with special emphasis on predominant diseases, their causes, prevention and development of medical diagnostic devices. It is the need of the hour to work towards the latest health care technology and to provide evidence based, quality controlled and affordable health care for rural people with chronic disease by Indian academicians and Scientists. These can be achieved only by reducing the gap by linking the bridge between physicians, health care scientists and academicians of our country.
Objective
• To aware about the various vital diseases , their cause and prevention in India
• To discuss about the various diagnostic facilities available in our country and research issues.
• To provide a hands on Laboratory session for acquisition and processing of Bio signals like ECG, EEG etc., using lab view software.
• To discuss how biostatistics used in biomedical data analysis and interpretations.
• To inculcate knowledge about the role of Doctors and Scientists (biomedical engineers) in health care system.
