Soft Computing is an emerging field that consists of complementary elements of
Artificial Neural Networks,
Fuzzy Logic,
Fuzzy Logic,
Genetic Algorithm,
Evolutionary
Computation and Machine Learning,
Computation and Machine Learning,
and offers solutions
where conventional approaches fail. Unlike the normal computing soft computing strive for exactness and full truth, soft computing techniques exploit the given tolerance of imprecision, partial truth, and uncertainty for a particular problem. This will improve the accuracy and performance of the overall system. This workshop aims to provide a forum for current state-of-the-art approaches of soft computing techniques in field of Power Electronics and its applications. This workshop also provides the use of MATLAB toolboxes for implementation of Soft Computing Techniques for solving problems related to Power Electronics.
