About Event:
The Workshop illustrates using ANSYS workbench to setup and
solve a three-dimensional turbulent fluid flow and heat transfer problem in a
mixing elbow using ANSYS fluent fluid flow systems.
This tutorial is designed to introduce you to the ANSYS workbench tool set using a familiar geometry. Within this workshop, you will create the elbow geometry and the corresponding computational mesh using the geometry and meshing tools with ANSYS workbench you will use ANSYS fluent to set up and solve the CFD problem. Then visualize the results in both ANSYS fluent and the ANSYS CFD post processing tool some capability of ANSYS workbench are also examined in this workshop.
This workshop demonstrate how to do the following:
Launch ANSYS workbench.
Set up the CFD simulation in ANSYS FLUENT which includes.
Set material properties and boundary conditions for a turbulent forced convection problem.
Calculate a solution using the pressure based solver.
Create a copy of the original ANSYS FLUENT fluid flow analysis system in ANSYS workbench.
Set up the CFD simulation ANSYS FLUENT which includes.
Scope:
CFD engineers find employment in a wide range of industries such as automotive, aerospace, defense, life science, machinery, and high tech. They are hired in all product design and manufacturing companies, as almost every design encounters fluid dynamics at some point, whether heat or liquids, internal or external.
