The microcontroller plays revolutionary role in embedded
industry after the invention of Intel 8051. The steady and progressive research
in this field gave the industry more efficient, high performance and low power
consumption microcontrollers. The new age microcontroller are getting smarter
and richer by including latest communication protocols like USB, I2C, SPI,
Ethernet, CAN etc..,The PIC microcontroller was developed by microchip
technology for various real time applications. They develop new high
performance microcontroller with new complex and enhanced in-built peripherals.
At present PIC microcontroller are widely used for industrial purposes due to
its high performance ability at low power consumption.
PIC is popular with industrial developers due microcontroller to their low cost, wide availability and extensive collection of application notes, availability of low cost or free development tools, serial programming & USB capability.
