About Event:
Matching the ever growing energy demand with the availability of
limited resources remain as a major challenge/threat to the power sector
industry. The need for renewable energy resources has been augmented in a large
scale and aroused due to its huge availability and pollution free operation.
Among the various available renewable energy resources, especially solar
energy has gained worldwide recognition because of its
minimal maintenance, zero noise and reliability. Because of the aforementioned
advantages, solar energy have been widely favoured for various applications
such as water pumping, solar home systems, charge controller, communications
and space vehicles and for even megawatt scale power plants.
The workshop aims at covering the most important phenomena’s relevant to solar energy power generation in standalone and grid connected system. Further, ideas pertinent to partial shade power generation will be covered. To enhance awareness on practical implementation hands on training sessions are planned to demon strating the various inter connection schemes available for solar PV system.
