About Event:
Ethical hacking is an important tool in many national security
agencies and even in companies. An Ethical Hacker is usually employed within
the organization (Insider) and can be trusted to undertake an attempt to breach
the networks and/or computer systems using the same methods as a Hacker. The
goal of the ethical hacker is to help the organization take pre-emptive
measures against malicious attacks by attacking the system himself.
The objective of the workshop is to provide an opportunity to the participants to gain knowledge about Ethical Hacking. This workshop will explore the various means that an intruder has in order to gain access to computer resources.
Who Can Participate?
Faculty and
students from Engineering, Arts and Science Colleges and Polytechnics with the
relevant background. Participants from industries are also invited for the
workshop.
