About Event:
This FDTP provides a platform for interaction and to provide a
basic foundation and understanding of Grid and Cloud Computing. The major
objectives of this FDTP are
To understand how Grid computing helps in solving large scale scientific problems.
To gain knowledge on the concept of virtualization.
To learn how to develop applications on different cloud platforms
To understand the security issues in the grid and the cloud environment.

Who Can Participate?
Faculty
members interested in teaching Grid and Cloud Computing and employed in AICTE -
approved Engineering Colleges affiliated to Anna University.
Accommodation Details:
Accommodation
will be provided in nearest hotels with respective charges.
Other Details:
There is no registration fee for the training programme. The
registration is restricted to 25 participants only. Participants are selected
on First Come First Serve basis and will be intimated through E-mail. No T.A
and D.A will be given.
Participation Certificate will be issued by the Centre of Faculty Development, Anna University, Chennai on completion of the FDTP successfully.
