About Event:
Computing has become ubiquitous thanks to the rapid developments
in information and communication technologies. Ubiquitous computing is now a reality with mobile phones with
reasonably high computing capability through various mobile applications in different
platforms. On the other hand, the internet of things (IoT) has attained
significant interest among academicians, researchers and policy makers. This
workshop attempts to explore Android and IoT application development using
MATLAB/Simulink tools.
MATLAB is a technical computing platform that is optimized for solving engineering and scientific problems. The matrix MATLAB language is the world’s most natural way to express computational mathematics. Built-in graphics make it easy to visualize and gain insights from data. A vast library of pre-built toolboxes helps to get started right away with algorithms essential to diverse domains.
This workshop aims to create a platform for the faculty members of the technical institutions to gain knowledge about recent developments in MATLAB computing platform and to gain knowledge about Android and IoT application development with MATLAB/Simulink tools.
Topics to be covered:
• Introduction to MATLAB/ Simulink
• MATLAB/ Simulink Features
• Hardware Connectivity with Raspberry Pi and Arduino
• Matlab/Simulink App Development
• Android App Development Using Simulink
